It is located on The Second Floor, 53 Victoria Street, Douglas, Isle of Man, IM1 2RP

This is the place to be if you love all things textile. You will find there are fully equipped workstations available with fabulous Janome machines that can be hired by the hour, See below for open hours when you can pop in to see me, book workshops and hire the workstations. There is a huge cutting table to spread out that gorgeous fabric you have, cut it out and get to work on it. You will be able to sit round the kitchen table and enjoy as much coffee, tea and biscuits as you like whilst sharing ideas with like-minded people.

Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced sewer there will be something here to get your creative juices flowing. Just follow the links on the left to view the various courses and workshops which are taught in small groups to ensure you get plenty of help where you need it. Private lessons can also be booked. If you don’t see what you want then do get in touch as courses can be tailored to suit your needs.

When showing as “Closed” you can still call in by appointment as One to One tuition, private groups sessions and fittings for alterations / commissions are taken then. Phone 426007 and please leave a message if I’m unable to answer your call.

N.B. I am not a retail operation so the hours available for general workstation hire will vary and can also be arranged by contacting me.

The Sewing Club, (also now known as “Drop in’s”) is a brand new concept for the Island!

The Sewing Club sessions are for those wanting to work on their own projects or to practice the new skills learned at the various workshops and courses. These sessions will be run throughout each week so there’s sure to be one at a time to suit you. These are not taught sessions but help will be on hand if you get stuck such as needing an extra pair of hands to pin that tricky bit round the back when checking for fit!

If you want to arrange a party (one-off session for birthday / hen nights etc.) with something stronger as refreshment you’ll need to bring your own & I’ll provide the glasses!
